WV Gaming Championship

The inaugural WV Gaming Championship, the tri-state area’s premier video game event, will take place August 12, 2017, in Charleston, West Virginia. Presented by the Charleston Gazette-Mail and fueled by a community of sponsors, the WV Gaming Championship brings competitive gamers of all ages together for exciting esports action in the heart of Appalachia. Players and teams will be able to test their skills while competing for cash and prizes in “Call of Duty: Black Ops III,” “NBA 2K17” and “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” in a safe, family-friendly atmosphere located in the heart of West Virginia’s capital city. The WV Gaming Championship will be held at the Charleston Town Center Mall, which is nestled in beautiful downtown Charleston and only a short walk from the city’s culture center, the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences.
