Ramp Dinner/Wildflower Walk/Earth Day Celebration

Join us for the Mason Dixon Historical Park's annual buffet-style Ramp Dinner! From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., we'll be serving up the finest ramp dinner the Appalachian Mountains have to offer. At 1:15, we will begin our wildflower walk. Suitable for all ages! Come celebrate Earth Day with us! Ramp Dinner At the Red Barn at The Mason-Dixon Historical Park features Ramps, Fried Potatoes, Soup Beans, Ham, Salad, Chicken 'n Noodles, Sausage gravy, Biscuits, Applesauce, Corn Bread, Deviled Eggs, Pickled Eggs, Cakes. Deep fried Beer Batter Ramps for $5. Cost - $10 Adult meal; $5 Age 12 & under; Free Age 5 & under with adult. Wildflower Walk - Enjoy the beauty of springtime and follow in the footsteps of history during the Wildflower Walk. The free walk will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot next to the red barn, the park's main building. •Please, no picking the wildflowers or any of the plants. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Beer Tasting at OI: Art and Ale

Oglebay Institute’s beer tasting events are must-attend social gatherings for craft beer enthusiasts in the Wheeling area. Discover new breweries. Try a variety of beer styles. Enjoy a buffet of foods that complements the featured beverages. Learn about the increasingly popular – and creative– craft beer industry. Events take place at the Stifel Fine Arts Center, a grand 100-year-old mansion that was once home to one of Wheeling’s most prominent families. More than just a beer tasting. . . During the events, you can also view the art exhibit on display in the gallery and explore the elegant mansion. You can purchase your favorite brews to take home, too. Most of all, unwind and have fun. Although events begin at 6:30 p.m., you can arrive early to meet the friendly staff. At some events, guided tours of the art exhibit are offered at 6 p.m. Explore one of Wheeling’s grand, historic properties and view interesting and thought-provoking art at OI’s popular beer tasting events.

Annual Belle of Cincinnati Dinner Cruise

The Point Pleasant River Museum is bringing back an evening to remember, reminiscent of the days of the early excursion boats. As the Belle of Cincinnati travels on the beautiful Ohio River, a delicious buffet-style meal will be served and the well-known local singer, Joey Wilcoxon, will be entertaining, furnishing music for dancing or just listening. The cruise is 2 1/2 hours long, leaving the dock at Point Pleasant's Riverfront Park at 7 p.m. Guests need to board by 6:30 p.m. Photographer is available for pictures. Boat has four decks, two of which are accessible by elevator, and one is walk-on. Handicap accessible to wheelchairs and scooters. Tickets are $50.00 for adults and children ages 4-12 are $25.00.

Valentine Buffet & Dance

Thanksgiving Buffet at The Resort at Glade Springs

Graceland Inn on the campus of Davis & Elkins College will host a special Surf and Turf Buffet from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 2.
