Berkeley County Youth Fair

Experience a traditional county fair, mixing agricultural interests and exhilarating carnival elements, at the 71st annual Berkeley County Youth Fair, in Martinsburg, August 4-11. Each day is packed with activities and events, so each day creates new experiences and memories. Fair-goers will delight in activities like bull riding, corn hole, a doughnut eating contest, tractor/truck pull, a Figure 8 Derby, a concert and more before ending the evening dashing between the dizzyingly fun carnival rides and games. Be sure to load up on delicious fair food, from grilled hamburgers to funnel cake, snow cones, cotton candy and more.

Eastern Panhandle Paracon at The Roundhouse

We are excited to announce the 1st annual Paracon at The Roundhouse in Martinsburg, WV. We will have paranormal groups, psychic mediums , tarot card readers, lots of other vendors !! Friday and Saturday paranormal investigations starts around 7pm. This is a additional fee. Saturdays event starts off at 9:30am. Sunday, starting at 11am, will be vendor's and entertainment. Everything will be announced as we go along!! Get excited this is going to be Big!!

Summer Peach Festival

Join Taylor's Farm Market for bushels of family fun at the Summer Peach Festival, Saturday, July 28. At this free event, families can enjoy arts & crafts, future farmers carnival, West Virginia Wine Tasting, antique tractor display, Cider Press BBQ and, of course, homegrown peaches! This rain-or-shine event will take place at Taylors Farm Market in Inwood. Limited on-site parking is available with additional parking and shuttle provided.

Back Creek Valley Homesteading Festival

A day of workshops on topics and skills of homesteading, self sufficiency, outdoor survival, bushcraft and preparedness. Also there will be vendors, food, pony rides, horse drawn carriage rides, live bluegrass music, kids activities and more. $5 for adults, kids under 12 get in free Held on the scenic grounds of the Lazy-A Campground: 15 minutes from Martinsburg and 40 minutes from Shepherdstown or Harpers Ferry, WV. Camp sites are available. Scenic mountain views, hot showers, lots of room for kids to play, and even a stream to splash in.

WoodsFest

"The Mountains are calling..." WoodsFest is situated on a scenic ridge with gorgeous panoramic views of the golf courses and mountains. Our artisans are hand selected and we hope to have many of your returning favorites. Enjoy live music and good food while browsing through the unique works of hand-picked artisans. Discover a great find in wood-working, painting, jewelry, metal-work, ceramics and much more! Kids will enjoy special activities just for them. Continuous entertainment and food will make you want to stay the day. Hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018.

New Year’s Eve Apple Drop

Count down to the new year and celebrate as the big apple drops at Main Street Martinsburg's first annual New Year's Eve Apple Drop in downtown Martinsburg. This free event is family-friendly and features family activities, music, free apples, doughnuts, hot apple cider and more.

RHYTHM IN THE NIGHT – THE IRISH DANCE SPECTACULAR

Boots – Brews – BBQ

BOOTS-BREWS-BBQ will offer 30+ crafts Beers, dig into some amazing local BBQ pop-ups and listen to live music by Mark Bray and the Steel Soul Cowboys. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the event. Ticket gets you 10 pours of brews. Additional ticket for $12.50 may be purchased for additional pours of brews at the event.

Eastern Panhandle Home Show

The Home Show offers the public an opportunity to view more than a hundred businesses under one roof, from home builders to re-modelers, banks, lenders, landscape companies and heating and air conditioning contractors, to ask questions and receive information from the the exhibitors. Visitors can also participate in a silent auction with a large variety of items from exhibitors and businesses. Admission is free for the two days.

South Berkeley Christmas Parade

Santa and the gang travel through downtown Inwood to kick up some holiday cheer and kickoff the Christmas season. Santa will be joined by festive floats, decorated cars, firetrucks and more for this great annual tradition.

Olde Town Christmas Parade

Watch Christmas come to life at Martinsburg's annual holiday parade. You'll see familiar characters like Santa, Mrs. Claus and Rudolph as well as festive floats, antique cars, firetrucks and more.

Martinsburg’s Tree Lighting Ceremony

Usher in the beginning of the holiday season at Martinsburg's annual tree lighting ceremony in the beautifully decorated town square. Drink hot chocolate, listen to carols and watch Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive in a horse-drawn sleigh to light up the tree.

Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival

Celebrating its 38th year, the Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival is one of the longest standing festival traditions in Berkeley County, celebrating the area’s rich history and agricultural roots. The four day event features a wide range of activities, from an elegant grand ball, to a sportsman and outdoor show, a craft show, agricultural events, a royal gala and the grand feature parade that fills downtown with performances, antique cars, fire trucks and more. This festival is a local favorite and will create a special memory for visitors and families who attend and share in this time-honored tradition.

Fall Family Farm Days Festival

The Fall Family Farm Days festival is a great way for families to welcome the changing of the seasons and create memories together. Join us for live local bluegrass, delicious food, tasty baked goods, hayrides, visit our pumpkin patch, craft vendors, and children’s activities. This year we’re also featuring a LIVE visit from Spookley the Square Pumpkin! You’ve probably seen his popular kids’ movie on the Disney Junior t.v. network. He’ll be walking around both days to greet the children between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Fridays @ Five

Cozy up with a blankets and chairs to Fridays @ Five, a fun, free summer concert series featuring amazing local and regional talent every Friday in the heart of Martinsburg. The concerts take place in the Town Square in downtown Martinsburg, providing easy access to the shops and restaurants, lasting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Arrive for the concert an hour early to browse through the Martinsburg Farmers Market for the area's best produce, meats, jams and jellies, breads, baked goods and more.

House and Garden Tours

Be sure to visit "Homes on Tour" for a look at the beautiful historic homes open for viewing during the 62nd Annual House and Garden Tour. Docents from garden clubs throughout the region guide guests through these homes and gardens, describing the architecture, furnishings and plantings, as well as genealogical information or historical events that may have taken place on the grounds or within the walls. Club members also volunteer their time and talents by providing beautiful flower arrangements to decorate the homes. Tours are scheduled at the end of April in order to capture spring's beauty at its peak. Wine and Arts Festival

Held on the expansive grounds of the historic Boydville Mansion, the annual Wine and Art Festival offers guests the best West Virginia wines, all-day live music, vendors and entertainment for a relaxing and fun experience. Guests will be able to sample state wines, ranging from very sweet to very dry-even honey and fruit wines, in a complimentary glass. After tasting, select a bottle of your favorite to enjoy in the shade of the lush trees adorning the property as you listen to the eclectic variety of bands, including jazz, blues, folk and rock.

Primitive to Prepper Festival

Join us this year at the North American Bushcraft School for our annual P2P Festival.
