Main Street Car Show

Main Street Car Show. Hot rods and classic cars line the streets from Riverfront Park up to Viand Street. You might see a modern Jaguar XKR, a 1930’s Ford Pickup, to modern muscle cars and nearly everything in between. There was something for everyone.

Vintage in the Ville

Watch the whole town of Fayetteville transform into a pickers paradise for “Vintage in the Ville”. Join us as we welcome hundreds of visitors in search of amazing bargains and hidden treasures. Discover a forgotten treasure while enjoying Fayetteville’s small-town charm. Vendors will set up their tent shops on the streets down the center of town. The market will open on Friday at 8 am and will close at 6 pm. Enjoy shopping for unique finds, antiques, jewelry, vintage furniture, clothes, toys, artisans, and more! Old Central City Days

Festival will feature antiques, art, crafts, food, music, and more! Hours are Saturday 10AM - 5PM and Sunday 12PM - 5PM. Free parking behind The Wild Ramp accessible from 13th Street West or at the Old Central City Shopping Plaza.

The Annual West Virginia Model Train and Toy Show

The show will feature many operating Model Railroad Layouts from some of the finest train modelers in the country.There will be several collections of railroad memorabilia and collectible toys and antiques.This event will feature a hundred or more dealer tables with items for sale. The event will also have a hands on Geo trax for children of all ages and Thomas the Tank Engine merchandise and collectibles for sale. There will also be food for sale during the show for the public. The Admission prices for the show is, adults $5.00, children 3-12 $1.00. Antiques Show – Glass Tour

Join Glass Museum curator Holly McCluskey for a special guided tour of antique glass featured at Oglebay Institute’s annual Antiques Show & Sale. Meet and interact with dealers and learn about pieces chosen specially for this tour. Glass from the mid-1800s through mid-century modern will be covered. Antiques Show and Sale at Wilson’s Lodge at Oglebay

Oglebay Institute’s annual Antiques Show & Sale at Wilson Lodge in Oglebay takes place April 8 & 9, 2017. Antiques Show hours: Saturday, April 8, 2017: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Among the oldest in the country, the show is also the largest and longest-running in West Virginia. Not only a shopping experience, dealers are eager to share their knowledge with patrons. Quality merchandise and diverse inventory will appeal to both experienced collectors and novice buyers. More than 50 dealers from 10 states are featured. General admission is $10 and is good for both days. Antiques for sale include: American, English, Primitive and Period Furniture, American Art, Folk Art, Western Art, pottery, quilts, jewelry, rugs, baskets, pewter, silver, glass, china, books and endless decorative items. Ripley’s On Sale … Believe It Or Not!

There are yard sales and then there's Ripley's On Sale ... Believe It Or Not! This annual community sale features dozens of vendors selling everything from antiques to primitives. A Friday attraction will be Garden Faire, sponsored by the Jackson County Master Gardeners. The annual event is presented in conjunction with area businesses, non-profit groups and clubs, and individuals. The sale will again be held on the lawn of the Jackson County Courthouse. Over eighty spaces will be located on the Jackson County Courthouse lawn. Individuals or groups may reserve 10’ x 10’ spaces for $20. The fee will be $5 more if electricity is required. Additional spaces, after the first, will be at a rate of $10 each. Individuals and neighborhoods are also invited to participate by having yard sales in their own locales. Ripley merchants will be offering special sales on Saturday.
