Seneca Skyway

Set out on West Virginia’s Seneca Skyway and find heavenly sights at every turn. Discover West Virginia’s natural wonders tucked within the hills and valleys of the Potomac Highlands region. Begin in Elkins and be introduced to the woodland oasis that is the Monongahela National Forest. Dine among the locals at one of the quaint diners before climbing in altitude to reach two beloved sister towns. Located less than 3 miles apart, Davis and Thomas boast some of the best the Mountain State has to offer. Find art and culture overflowing from the tiny town of Thomas. Discover that Davis is home to the iconic 57-foot tall Blackwater Falls, a jaw-dropping cascade that gives name to the town’s state park.

Continue along the route to gaze upon Seneca Rocks, the magnificent rock formation that stands at over 900 feet. Feel awakened after hiking the uphill trail to the top.
