Winterplace Ski Resort
Ski or snowboard your heart out at Winterplace Ski Resort, West Virginia’s southernmost ski resort. This spot features 27 slopes, a terrain park, ten lifts along with the largest snow tubing park in the state. Timberline Mountain Resort

Skiing and snowboarding are both offered as well as two natural snow glades and adaptive ski lessons. Coming in at 2 miles long, Timberline’s Salamander Run is one of the longest ski trails in the southeast. Newly renovated, this spot is now home to the only high-speed 6-person chairlift in West Virginia. For extra ease, guests can stay on-site at the Timberline Hotel.
