Rotary Park Home to Newest Almost Heaven Swing
Visitors encouraged to complete summer bucket list for a chance to win a free fall getaway
Huntington, WV – The West Virginia Department of Tourism, in partnership with the Huntington Convention and Visitors Bureau and Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District, is unveiling another new Almost Heaven swing located in Cabell County, West Virginia. Visitors are invited to attend the unveiling event at the Rotary Park overlook on Friday, July 12 at 10:00 a.m.
“We are delighted to announce the installation of our new Almost Heaven swing at Rotary Park,” said Huntington Convention and Visitors Bureau Director of Sales and Marketing Anna Adkins. “This location was selected for its stunning overlook and accessibility, ensuring that all visitors feel welcome.”
Home to hundreds of acres of beautiful hillside, Rotary Park boasts hiking and biking trails, disc golf courses, sports courts and an observation tower that gives way to panoramic city views.
“Summer travel is in full swing and visiting all of these new photo-op locations is the perfect way to start checking off your West Virginia Summer Bucket List,” said West Virginia Department of Tourism Secretary Chelsea Ruby. “I’m appreciative of Huntington’s continued partnership and commitment in helping to spread the word that West Virginia truly is an Almost Heaven destination.”
There are now more than 25 Almost Heaven photo-op swings available throughout the state, making it easy for travelers to check off this adventure on the West Virginia Summer Bucket List. Visitors are encouraged to share their photos on social media using #AlmostHeaven
