After choosing which portion of the river to explore, you can decide how long you want your expedition to be. Are you hoping for a full day of adventure? Hop on board for a full day on the Lower New River Gorge, lasting about 6 to 7 hours. Looking to only get your feet wet? Go beyond your comfort zone and into the rapids for 3 to 4 hours.
