Enjoy an Old Tyme Christmas in Harpers Ferry

This winter celebrate Christmas in an extra special way at the Harpers Ferry Old Tyme Christmas Festival. The festival kicks off on Nov. 30 with a yule log and Christmas tree lighting ceremony that’ll get you and your family into the holiday spirit. During the festival bask in the beautifully decorated streets of historic Harpers Ferry and delight in the festivals seasonal activities.

Throughout the festival, shops and restaurants are open for extended hours and run special sales, historic candy-making demonstrations and classes are offered, you can find Santa and Mrs. Claus strolling through the town, watch live performances by musicians and historians and much more. Free horse-drawn wagon rides and a holiday tour of the towns historic inns and b&bs are some of the festival goer’s favorite activities.

The Harpers Ferry Old Tyme Christmas Festival takes place Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 and Dec. 8 through Dec. 9. This magical festival will soon become a special holiday tradition for you and your family for many years to come.
