Winterplace even has a snowtubing park and kiddie park, the perfect activity for any age. Grab a tube and let your inner child out!

Snowshoe Mountain Resort in the wintertime has a little bit of something for everyone, and when the village is covered in snow, it’s truly the ultimate winter getaway. Snowshoe has many gorgeous and cozy lodging accommodations where you can rest up after you day of adventure. Snowshoe has three different ski areas on one mountain, but the resort also offers an array of other exciting adventures such as adventure dining, off-road adventure tours, terrain parks, snowmobile tours, tube park and more. Or you can always spend some time in the village shopping and eating at the resorts many different delicious restaurants.

Winter in Tucker County is a magical time, and we can picture it now. Strolling the charming storefronts of Davis and Thomas, having an adventure at Canaan Valley Resort and exploring iconic Blackwater Falls State Park. Two of our favorite activities include sledding down the sled run at Blackwater Falls State Park on the longest sled run on the east coast and tubing at Canaan Valley Resorts tube park. At 1,200 feet-long, this multi-lane tube park is the longest on the east coast. Or simply warm up at trendy TipTop in Thomas with a delicious cappuccino.
