Beauty Mountain Trail

Just 10 minutes away from the always beautiful town of Fayetteville, explorers can find the Beauty Mountain Trail for gorgeous and inspiring views of the Appalachian Mountains and the incredible New River. Beauty Mountain is a fitting name for this area as the beautiful views can not be matched anywhere else. The trail is just 1.5 miles long and is the perfect place to take your time and explore.

Elakala to Yellow Birch Trail

If you’re looking for scenic beauty and peacefulness, the Elakala to Yellow Birch Trail is the perfect trail. The Elakala to Yellow Birch Trail is a lightly trafficked, 5.4-mile long trail that provides stunning views of Elakala Falls. The sights and sounds along this scenic trail are favorites for hikers.

Along this 12-mile out-and-back trail, take time to stop at one of the many swimming holes and rope swings. This trail not only provides one-of-a-kind views of the New River but is also an idyllic place for a picnic.
