Snow Tubing

If snow tubing is on your list of things to experience this winter than West Virginia is the right place for you. Winterplace Ski Resort is home to the largest tubing park in the state with two Super Carpet lifts and up to 14 lanes. At Winterplace Ski Resort spending a day laughing and snow tubing is easy. Head to Snowshoe Mountain Resorts Coca-Cola Tubing Park, a six story, eight lane tubing park. After your tubing session visit the Black Run Sugar Shack for tasty food and a break in between all of the fun. At 1,200 feet long, the multi-lane tube park at Canaan Valley Resort State Park is one of the longest in the Mid-Atlantic. There’s even a magic carpet that takes you back to the top so you can save your energy in between sessions.

Ice Skating

There’s nothing better than skating around the ice rink all day and then warming up with a delicious cup of hot cocoa. Sledding

The entire family will enjoy racing down more than a quarter mile of fresh mountain snow. Sledding is also available at Pipestem Resort State Park. At Pipestem Resort State Park you can bring your own sled or rent one from Pipestem’s Pro Shop, so you don’t miss out on any wintertime fun.
