The West Virginia Herb Association is holding its 32st Annual Fall Conference “The Many Uses of Herbs” on October 19 at Jackson’s Mill, WV. Keynote Speakers are Joe & Terry Graedon of NPR radio show: The People’s Pharmacy. Keynote lecture: Why Are Herbs Safer Than Pharmaceuticals? For more than four decades, Joe and Terry Graedon have been teaching, writing, and broadcasting information to help people make informed decisions about their health.

The conference is open to the public to learn about native plants, medicinal herbs, forest farming, mushroom identification, Native American herbal lore and more including an herb walk from 14 knowledgeable speakers including: herbalists, WVU professors, herb/plant farmers, authors, and naturalists all who encourage the use of West Virginia farm and forest grown medicinal plants and herbs. The $30 registration fee will cover the entire day of classes with ample time for browsing many vendors of herbal products.
