Weekend of Workshops

Fort New Salem annually hosts our Weekend of Workshops. If you have always wanted to “learn how to do that,” this is the place to be. Visitors see live demonstrations as well as numerous artisans in various cabins. General admission is $8, and children 10 & under are admitted for free. General tours of our campus are available. Individuals wanting to participate in the workshop shall also pay the class registration fee.

This was our 2024 lineup. Our 2025 schedule will be made available closer to the event.

*** ATTENTION *** Our four feature workshops (Blacksmithing, Pottery, Tinsmithing and Basket Making) have limited class sizes and require pre-registration. They are on a first–come, first–served basis with pre-payment.
