The Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra will continue its current season with a concert in Shepherdstown on March 12. The concert, which is sponsored by Friends of Music, will feature two iconic works: Aaron Copeland's "Appalachian Spring Suite" and Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons." It will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church at 7:30 p.m. Music Director Jed Gaylin will conduct. The violin soloist for Four Seasons will be Quing Li, the Baltimore Symphony's Principal Second Violin and a frequent soloist with that orchestra. Born in China, she studied at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. She currently performs on a Neopolitan instrument made by Nicolo Gagliano in 1736.
