The Underground Forest – Paleobotany and Fossil Collecting in WV

Long ago, the forests of what is now West Virginia looked much different. During this program, attendees will learn about these mysterious forests, what kind of plants and animals lived there, and how to set about discovering a new hobby of fossil collecting. These ancient forests are a mysterious part of the Mountain State’s history and you too can find amazing fossils that are clues of a long forgotten tale. All ages. Free for members, $15 for non-members.
