Open Stage in The Room Upstairs

The Room Upstairs, a turn-of-the-century-ballroom turned small theater, is a magnificent venue for live performance located in the Mercer Street Grassroots District of downtown Princeton. Most Monday evenings, the space comes to life with music, poetry, free-flowing conversation and fellowship. A cornerstone of the creative community in The Mercer Street Grassroots District, this regular event offers songwriters, poets, storytellers and comics an opportunity to showcase their work in a professional stage environment with a supportive audience. Relax in the comfortable living room style environment, enjoy the creativity flowing from all corners of the room, play music, read poetry, dance, tell jokes or just enjoy the show. This is an all ages event, so please be mindful of your material choices when young people are present. There is a cover charge of $3 for audience and $2 for performers.
