Open House at Old Hemlock

July 18, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Interested in local history? The outdoors? Art? Hunting? Old Hemlock will be holding an open house July 18th and we have something for almost every taste. Plan on enjoying the history of nationally-renowned West Virginia author, artist, and sportsman George Bird Evans; our hand-hewn log cabin built in 1782; a 240 acre nature preserve with 3 miles of trails; along with beautiful and historic antiques. Don’t forget to visit the WVU Archives as well, where George’s works are being curated and preserved for posterity.
