Journey to the YMC sugar bush for free tours of the maple operation hosted by our Forest Farming Coordinator, Will Lewis. Our conversations will flow from sap run conditions, tapping specifics, to collection. We will also tap into Will’s knowledge on using the evaporator and RO equipment.
Gather sweet details on how to tap sustainably and ensure the sugar bush’s optimum health.
Satisfy your maple cravings with an all day brunch featuring endless stacks of buckwheat pancakes drenched in local maple syrup! Pair your pancakes with a mouthwatering selection of sides: local bacon and sausage from Swift Level Fine Meats, golden potatoes, and fluffy scrambled local eggs. The $20 buffet supports our non-profit’s programs, with kids 6-18 half off and children 5 and under free.
New this year is a charter bus from Lewisburg! $10 gets you a ride to the YMC from the parking lot of Lewisburg United Methodist Church (and back!) on a MTA bus. Bus departs at 9:00 am Sat. 2/15 and returns at 1:30pm. Tickets may be purchased at our website. Buffet purchase is optional.
