Mothman Event in Ripley - September 18, 2026

Ripley celebrates all things Mothman before the Mothman Festival in Mason County. On Friday, September 18, downtown Ripley has a shop hop for those looking for a fun Friday evening. Main Street Ripley is hosting a car show on the Courthouse Lawn, and Ripley’s famous Mothman geo cache/treasure hunt card game, where you collect tickets at certain shops to claim prizes, such as tickets to see Paul Strickland’s show at The Alpine Theatre at 7 p.m.
