Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea at the Inn at Lost River

May 11 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Please join us in celebrating Mothers, Grandmothers, Mothers-in-law, or just your favorite person who is like a mother to you! Afternoon Tea at the Inn at Lost River is the perfect way to show them how much they mean to you!

Did you know West Virginia was the birthplace of Mother’s Day? The first observance of Mother’s Day occurred in 1908 when Anna Jarvis held a memorial ceremony in Grafton, WV, to honor her mother and all mothers. President Woodrow Wilson made the holiday official in 1914, signing a Congressional resolution recognizing the second Sunday in May as Mother’s Day.

Celebrate mom with our Mother’s Day tea service at the Inn at Lost River. Indulge in luxurious teas, bubbly mimosas, exquisite tea sandwiches, delightful scones, and delicious desserts and pastries.
