Memory Fails Me by Bryce Speed Exhibition Closing Reception - March 26, 2026

Spend an evening in the Visual Arts Center as we wrap up Memory Fails Me, the latest exhibition by painter Bryce Speed. The exhibition is on view in the Charles W. & Norma C. Carroll Gallery from February 19 to March 26, 2026. The closing reception will be held on March 26 at 6 PM.

On the final night:
• Artist Talk: 5–6 PM
• Reception: 6 PM (light snacks provided)

Bryce Speed, currently Associate Professor of Art in Painting at the University of Alabama, has shown his work across the eastern U.S. and Scotland. His work in Memory Fails Me explores the everyday rhythms of home life and the line between private and public spaces through arduously hand-cutting stencils.
It’s an opportunity to enjoy art, hear directly from the artist, and connect with the local creative community.
