Legend Has It Exhibition Reception - July 17, 2026

In celebration of the U.S. 250th anniversary, Legend Has It presents quilts and contemporary fiber artworks that narrate the history of labor, transportation, commerce, and freedom in Cabell County and nearby areas. Each quilt reflects stories of migration, industry, and resilience, honoring the contributions of women and men who shaped West Virginia’s communities and industries through both historical patterns and contemporary designs.

Legend Has It will be on view in the Charles W. & Norma C. Carroll Gallery from June 15 to July 24, 2026, with a public reception on July 17 from 5–7 p.m., during the Downtown Art Walk.
