In 1978, the Pumpkin House began with only 4 pumpkins carved for a Halloween display. Since then, the number of hand-carved pumpkins has grown to 3,000 and cover this beautiful Victorian home.
The creation and completion of the Pumpkin House display occurs during the last 10 days of October each year. The event coincides with the C-K Autumnfest and will be in full splendor October 29 and 30. Volunteers are welcome to come down and help carve! Scooping is for all ages but 18+ to carve.
Visitors park on the LEFT side of Beech St. from 21st St. to 8th St. The house is located at 748 Beech St. Handicap drop-off is located at the corner of 7th St. and Beech St. Handicap parking is located at Kenny Queen Ace Hardware. Remember the Pumpkin House is best enjoyed at night when all the gourds are their glowing best.
