Get ready for Halloween with a spooky weekend in Ripley.
It begins Friday with a showing of the 1931 Bela Lugosi thriller ‘Dracula’ at 6:30 p.m. in the historic Alpine Theatre. Follow that up with the Historic Tragedies walk through downtown. The 8 p.m. tour is led by award-winning storyteller Granny Sue Holstein with cameo appearances by characters portrayed by actors from the Jackson County Players.
On Saturday, the MacAbre Brothers entertain in the theater at 7 p.m. followed by the walk at 8 p.m.
