Runners, ruckers, and relay teams will take on steep climbs, singletrack trails, historic rail paths, and sweeping Gorge overlooks as they journey to the finish line in Thurmond—once a bustling rail town, now home to a handful of residents and one unforgettable finish line celebration. The energy of the crowd, champagne toasts, and the sound of the Amtrak train pulling in to carry you back through the Gorge make this an only-in-West-Virginia adventure.
