Learn how to germinate seeds and raise seedlings indoors that you can later transplant into your spring garden at the West Virginia Botanic Garden. WVU Professor Emeritus and Monongalia County Extension Master Gardener Jim Rye will demonstrate the process, show equipment needed, and give recommendations and instructions for care.
Each participant will take home cell trays of different types of vegetable seeds (which will include at least two types of basil and two types of tomatoes). All materials provided. Ages 14 and up. Space limited. $10 for WVBG members, $15 for non-members.
