Fort Ashby Days - May 2, 2026

An event honoring Fort Ashby’s heritage. The event will be held at Ashby’s Fort Museum, which offers information and tours of the French and Indian War. The museum is located on the site of Washington’s first fort, built 270 years ago on Virginia’s western frontier.
There will be a parade on Saturday to start the event. See reenactors, crafts, vendors, new displays, great food, musket firings, a dedication to our new transportation display, and more. Best of all, this event is free! Parade begins Saturday at 10 am.
