Discover Nature Day will be returning for its eighth consecutive year at the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center on April 27. Discover Nature Day begins at 10 a.m. with the Garlic Mustard Challenge. Garlic mustard is an invasive species in the area. The challenge is to see how many garlic mustard plants teams can pull on the Discovery Center grounds. All volunteers will receive a thank you bag filled with cool prizes. Please be at the Center by 9:30 a.m. to sign up. Light refreshments follow the pull and is free for all volunteers. Drop by anytime from 1-4 p.m. for live animal presentations and booths and displays of information from partner groups located throughout the Potomac Highlands of West Virginia.
