Common Threads: Learn The Art of Tape Loom Weaving

Do you love fiber arts? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to weave your own project? This fun, informal class will discuss the importance of fiber arts throughout history as well as modern techniques. You’ll get to try weaving your own masterpiece on a small, colonial frame loom which will be provided for in-class use. Different styles of looms and weaving will be discussed. Although the class will be geared toward beginners, weavers of any level who are interested in history and fiber arts are welcome to attend.

Workshop Fee: $40.00 | This workshop fee covers instruction and supplies. Please bring your own scissors, a tape measure, and a narrow yarn or carpet needle.
