Welcome to the 51st Apple Butter Festival!
October 9th – 11th, 2026 | Historic Downtown Bath – Berkeley Springs, WV

Fall is officially in the air, and our biggest, most beloved town tradition is right around the corner! On behalf of the Town of Bath, I want to extend a massive thank you to the Morgan County Chamber of Commerce for their tireless dedication, vision, and hard work in hosting and organizing the 51st Annual Apple Butter Festival.

Featuring over 250 craft, food, and artisan vendors, continuous live entertainment, and classic hometown contests, this festival is truly a place where families and friends gather to make lifelong memories.

Kicking Off Friday, October 9th: Beer Garden Party!
We’re starting the celebration early! Join us Friday evening for the Kickoff Beer Garden Party. It’s the perfect way to unwind with craft beverages, great local food, live music, and good neighbors before the main festival grounds open.

Saturday, October 10th at 9:00 AM: The Grand Parade!
The Apple Butter Festival Parade is a fantastically fun event that brings thousands of cheering spectators to our downtown sidewalks!

Grab your class, your club, or your co-workers—bring the kids and the grandparents! You’re never too young or too old to be part of the magic. As they say: don’t let the parade pass you by! The parade steps off promptly at 9:00 AM on Saturday.

Main Festival Weekend: Saturday, Oct 10th & Sunday, Oct 11th
Fresh Copper-Kettle Apple Butter: Stirred over open fires by local volunteers all weekend long—be sure to take a jar (or three) home!

250+ Artisan & Food Vendors: Explore fine crafts, handmade goods, regional artwork, and mouthwatering festival food.

Live Music in the Park: Bluegrass, country, and regional talent performing on stage in historic Berkeley Springs State Park.

Hometown Contests: Baking, beard-growing, hog-calling, and the world-famous turtle races for all ages!

Events like this show what makes our community so special. Thank you again to the Morgan County Chamber of Commerce, all our volunteers, and local sponsors who make this weekend possible.
