31st Annual Ramp Dinner – Upshur County Library - April 17, 2026

The Upshur County Public Library and Fish Hawk Acres present an opportunity to enjoy gourmet food and good company with the Buckhannon, WV community in a unique atmosphere at the 31st Annual Ramp Dinner – An Appalachian Extravaganza, to be held at the Upshur County Public Library on Friday, April 17, from 5-8 p.m.

Since 1994, the Upshur County Public Library’s Ramp Dinner has welcomed guests and our community into the library to enjoy a gourmet version of traditional ramp dinner fare (ham and potatoes with ramps) paired with other ramp-infused dishes, such as deviled eggs with pickled ramps, a ramp & vegetable strata (fancy Italian quiche), and focaccia with ramp-infused butter. Chef Dale Hawkins of Fish Hawk Acres, a regionally known local restaurant and caterer, has partnered with us to bring his culinary talents to the meal. Tickets are $28 for adults and $14 for children ages 6-12. Reservations are required by the morning of April 15, so we know how much food to prepare!
