Windwood Fly-in Resort is surrounded by beautiful landscaped scenery. This is a convenient spot for small plan owners looking for a weekend get-away. Windwood accommodates travelers with or without their wings, but we're always glad to see you land here!

We are conveniently located in the heart of beautiful Canaan Valley, West Virginia. Sitting high in the Allegheny Mountain Range, this alpine valley is the highest plateau east of the Rocky Mountains. Its unique cool and moist climate allows for cold, snowy winters and pleasant summers. The valley is surrounded by the Dolly Sods and Otter Creek Wilderness Area, Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge, Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley State Parks, and 900,000 acres of National Forest Land. Canaan Valley is well-known as a four-season paradise.

The Inn at Windwood offers 17 clean, spacious rooms at affordable rates. Rooms include a luxurious king-size bed or a family -friendly two-double bed room, individual heating and air conditioning units, satellite television, telephone and a wireless high-speed Internet connection. Guests at the Inn enjoy a fully-equipped game room, weight room, volleyball court and an on-site restaurant. Each room has direct access to the spacious balconies overlooking Canaan Valley including Timberline ski Resort, Dolly Sods Wilderness Area, and the back country surrounding Blackwater Falls State park.
Amelia's Restaurant is located within the resort and is well know for its home cooking and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu offers a variety of foods including, steak, seafood, pastas, sandwiches and more. Don't forget to try one of our homemade desserts!

Our resort is open year round from 7:30 am - 9 pm and the restaurant is open Tues-Sat from 7:30 am - 9 pm and Sunday 7:30 am - 3 pm. the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesdays.
