Bowden, West VirginiaThe West Virginia School of Traditional Skills is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that works with other businesses and organizations to provide experiential education using creation to empower people to reconnect with nature. We provide on-site classes for small groups in animal husbandry, planting, harvesting, and preserving your own food through gardening with and without high tunnels, forest farming, herbalism, hunting, fishing, and self-sufficiency. Most learning experiences are based on the grounds of Laurel River Club Bed & Breakfast and Laurel Fork Farm in Tucker/Randolph Counties. We also offer presentations at your location.
