West Virginia Music Hall Of Fame Museums
Charleston, West VirginiaWe are a non-profit organization seeking to preserve, educate, and celebrate the contributions West Virginian musicians have made locally, nationally, & globally! Our inductees represent several genres - Bill Withers, John Ellison, Fred "Sonic" Smith, Kathy Mattea, Larry Groce, Michael W. Smith, and 56 others! Our Hall of Fame Museum showcases these inductees through personal belongings such as recordings, clothing, and instruments, while our Museum of Music showcases schools, churches, radio stations, festivals, and more from West Virginia. We host live performances, have a children's activity center, and an interactive map to allow visitors to discover the varied music our state has to offer! Our museums are located on the second level of the Charleston Town Center Mall in Charleston, WV.
