West Virginia Music Hall Of Fame Museums
Charleston, West VirginiaFounded in 2005, the WVMHoF is a non-profit organization with a mission to recognize, preserve, and educate people as to the contributions West Virginia musicians have made to the rich quilt of American music.
We have two 5,500 sq. ft. museums - The WV Music Hall of Fame and the WV Museum of Music. Both spaces include memorabilia, instruments, vintage gear, photographs and posters representing the music of WV.
Our nearly 70 inductees represent most genres and include Bill Withers, Hazel Dickens, Little Jimmy Dickens, Charlie McCoy, Eleanor Steber, two founding members of Parliament/Funkadelic (Calvin Simon & Fuzzy Haskins), Connie Smith, The Womack Brothers, and John Ellison.
