The Landmark Studio for the Arts

Sutton, WV

The Landmark Studio for the Arts is located on Main Street, in Sutton's Historic Downtown District. Housed in a circa 1896 Victorian era church, the building was purchased and renovated in 1988 to create a stage. The original WV made stained glass windows are intact. Over the years the stage has been expanded and green rooms were added.

The Landmark Studio is a not for profit community arts organization which presents theater, music, Humanities programs, film and children's events. The resident community theater is known as the Landmark Players and the children's division as Landmark Youth Theater Ensemble (LYTE). We have been home to the WV FilmMakers Festival and the Melvin Wine Old Time Music Concert.

Tickets are purchased at the door and reservations can be made by calling the Landmark at 304-644-3166. Information is available on the website for schedules, board members and other activities (landmarkstudioforthearts.org).
