Sugarwood Golf Club
Lavalette, WVSugarwood Golf Club is located in Lavalette, West Virginia, just six miles south of Huntington. Since 1980 the golf course has been reinvented time and time again. In the spring of 2012, we opened the new green on Hole 16 to complete the 30 year renovation. Sugarwood offers a variety of tees ranging from 5,186 to 6,710 yards and is ranked as one of the best public golf courses in the state every year. Not only do we offer a great golf course, but we have been awarded merchandiser of the year in the West Virginia Chapter of the PGA of America many times. In the spring of 2013, Sugarwood introduced its indoor club fitting and teaching studio. The studio provides top of the line technology to improve your game. It offers a launch monitor, simulator, fitting systems and the V1 video teaching system. The V1’s 210 frame per second high speed cameras allow us to evaluate your swing in slow motion to identify areas of improvement.
