Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority consists of six parks ranging in size from 10 to 2,300 acres – hosting many activities and fun for all ages. Raleigh County started servicing the residences recreationally in 1959 with the creation of Lake Stephens.
More than 60 years later, the Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority continues to serve the Raleigh County residence with outdoor recreation at its best. There are lakes, playgrounds, picnic areas, campgrounds, ball fields and much more.
