Oglebay Institute’s Stifel Fine Arts Center

Wheeling, West Virginia

Housed in the historic Edemar Mansion, Stifel Fine Arts Center is a public arts center with galleries, classrooms and performance spaces. Artists, art lovers, students, educators and families gather here to connect and engage in creative pursuits.

Tour the grand mansion and marvel at the architecture and gardens, explore our art galleries and see the work of local, regional and national artists in changing art exhibitions. You can take a class in painting, pottery, jewelry making and more. Attend a jazz or bluegrass concert, wine tasting or craft beer event—the elegant setting is ideal for date nights and evenings out with friends.

Stifel Fine Arts Center also has a robust visual arts youth education program offering in-school and field trip programs as well as summer art camps.

The Stifel artist residency program brings established and emerging artists to Wheeling to inspire, collaborate, and share their talents with our local schools and community while expanding their body of work.
