Stay at your own private 190 acre nature preserve! LG has a variety of lodging to suit any budget. Come enjoy some breathing room. Hike our 5+ trails, fish in our ponds or for trout at the nearby Thorn Creek Wildlife Management Area, relax on one of the porches or around a fire pit, gaze at the stars. We have an 1840s homestead to explore as well! NEW in 2021 - we now have an on-site distillery (Dry Run Spirits) featuring small batch hand crafted moonshine! Most spirits are made from our apples, and maple sap in season.

We're on a scenic motorcycling and bicycling route, and close to rock climbing at nRocks or Seneca Rocks, hiking at Spruce Knob or North Fork Mountain Trail, Dolly Sods. Enjoy an area festivals in Franklin WV or Monterey VA.

We are a little over an hour from Harrisonburg VA, 3 hours from Richmond or the D.C. area.

Our party barn is available for outdoor dining, small weddings and other events! Weekend weddings including lodging are our specialty! We have a catering kitchen, and an officiant on site. Mountain top or woodland ceremony sites abound! Please inquire about our budget friendly a la carte wedding pricing. ​​

We have a bounty of morels, chanterelles, ramps, fruit trees on our 190 acres. We love to prepare meals featuring what we forage here. Please inquire about breakfast or dinner service.

Dogs may be allowed in some cabins, please inquire.
