Kanawha County Public Library
Charleston, WVThe state's largest public library system has one Main Library, one bookmobile, nine branches and one affiliate. Residents from all 55 West Virginia counties are represented among our 100,000 patrons. The library maintains more than 600,000 items in the collection -- 350,000 items are housed at the Main Library, and the rest are distributed throughout the system. Each year our libraries experience nearly 1 million patron visits, and more than 1 million items are checked out.
Resources offered to the public include: Books; Music; Research Tools and Resources; Magazines; Video E-books; Audio Books; Downloadables; Learning Lab; Business Resource Center; Classes.
