Welcome to Centre Market, an eclectic mix of shops and quality dining. Wheeling's Centre Market, built in 1853, is older than the state itself. The Upper Market House, the oldest market house in the country, was originally an open air market. The Lower Market House was built in 1891. The Historic Centre Market neighborhood has many other points of interest for make for an enjoyable day trip. Unique eateries, a number of antique shops and salons are all within a one block walking area.
