Cedar Creek State Park

2947 Cedar Creek Rd., Glenville

Nestled in the heart of West Virginia, Cedar Creek State Park's 2,483 lush acres is 25 miles west of Interstate 79. The park is a pastoral setting of rolling hills and wide valleys provides an ideal backdrop for a wide variety of recreational opportunities from cycling to pleasant family strolls.

One of the unique aspects of the campground is the check-in station, a restored log cabin which was formerly a Gilmer County historical landmark. Further adding to the charming ambience of the park, a reconstructed one-room schoolhouse has been erected as a testimonial to the early years of education.

The campground is seasonal by nature. Visitors and patrons enjoy fishing, hiking, game courts and more. The park website maintains events, rates, and park map/directions.
