Carnifex Ferry Cabins

Summersville, WV

In the heart of the New River Gorge in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia, two minutes from Summersville Lake, on the doorstep of Carnifex Ferry State Park, you will find Carnifex Ferry Cabins. The State Park includes a museum and historical information, which appeals to Civil War and history buffs. Couples and families love the miles of hiking trails, picnic facilities, and famed view of the Gauley River from the park. Hiking trails lead to three different waterfalls.

The cabins are located 20 minutes from Fayetteville, named one of America’s Coolest Small Town by Budget Travel Magazine and Matador Networks. Fayetteville is known by most as being the home of the New River Gorge Bridge, the longest arch bridge in the Western Hemisphere. This foodie town, with outdoor shops and boutiques, will delight everyone who visits.
