Arts Day is free and open to the public and will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Stop by the Capitol Rotunda to see all your favorite artists and arts organizations!
Exhibitor registration for Arts Day at the Legislature is closed.



Arts Day FAQ
Have a question about participating in Arts Day at the Legislature? Check out the answers to this list of frequently asked questions:
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring a tablecloth that fits your table and the items you would like to display.
Since you will need to walk from the shuttle drop-off by the bus turnaround to Building 1 and through the building, please bring a wagon or cart if you have bulky items that will be difficult to carry.
Please note: Power access is limited. If you need access, please let us know in advance. This will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Where should I park?
Partners may park at Laidley Field or in metered parking on the Capitol grounds. If parking at Laidley Field (Lot 7 and Visitor Parking), shuttle service will be available throughout the day and runs approximately every 10-15 minutes during the morning run and every 30 minutes during mid-day and afternoon runs.
The general shuttle schedule is as follows, and we have asked the drivers to run more frequently for this event if possible:
- Morning: 6:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
- Mid-Day: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Afternoon: 3:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
The shuttle route is as follows:
Laidley Field – Elizabeth Street
Laidley Field – Piedmont Road
Sydney/McClung St. Parking – 3-way stop at Piedmont Rd.
Capitol Parking Garage
Building 3 – Parking lot side MID-DAY & AFTERNOON RUN BEGINS HERE
Building 5 – Piedmont Road
Building 6 – California Avenue
Capitol Building – East Wing, California Avenue
Cultural Center/Bus Turnaround

How do I schedule time with my legislators?
- Contact your legislators’ offices by email or phone to let them know that you will be attending Arts Day on February 11, 2026 and would like to schedule time to meet with them.
- Having trouble finding their contact information? Call the toll-free number of West Virginia’s Legislative Information Office at 1-877-565-3447 for the officials’ Charleston telephone numbers.
When is the Arts In Our Communities Conference?
The annual Arts in Our Communities Conference will take place on February 9-10 (the two days before Arts Day) at the Culture Center in Charleston. Both the Arts in Our Communities Conference and Arts Day at the Legislature are free and open to the public but require registration.
