The small, historic town of Bramwell was founded in the late 1800s during the coal boom and was once home to the most millionaires per capita in the United States. Today, gorgeous mansions remain, lining the brick streets along the banks of the Bluestone River. Spend the day marveling at the beauty and history of the town. Grab a bite to eat at the Corner Shop Diner, and pay a visit to the Bramwell Train Depot where you can see photos and artifacts from the early days of the town. Bramwell is also an ATV-friendly town and home to the Pocahontas trailhead on the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System, which is one of the largest trail systems in the world. The Hatfield-McCoy Trails span across more than 700 miles throughout Southern West Virginia. Bramwell is home to several ATV-friendly B&Bs, and Buffalo Trail is located just several minutes outside of town. Buffalo Trail features cabins, RV sites, campsites and a restaurant & brewery.
