The Wheeling Jamboree has been presented at over 20 different Venues in the greater Wheeling area since it’s inception back in 1933 and the landmark Capitol Theatre is its most widely recognized. On April 15th a Jamboree show is timed to Celebrate the 84th Anniversary of its “first run” at the Capitol along with the shows “Patriarch”, Country Music Veteran Darnell Miller who Celebrates 50 years as a member of the Jamboree this year. A variety of Jamboree Artist Members are appearing on this special event. Performers will include members of the Wheeling Park High School Bluegrass Band along with other special entertainers. The show will be broadcast live on the new radio home of the Wheeling Jamboree WWOV 101.1 FM in Wheeling.
