Pipestem State Park – EAST RIVER TOWN BAND CHRISTMAS CONCERT

East River Mountain Town Band Christmas Concert is an annual Sunday afternoon event at Pipestem State Park featuring Christmas and holiday music performed by the 45 member East River Mountain Town Band of Bluefield, WV and the surrounding area. This concert welcomes everyone and takes place in the Hudkins Conference Center of McKeever Lodge and will begin at 3:00 pm. There is no charge to attend, everyone is welcomed to attend this Sunday in the park program.

New Year’s Eve at Smokey’s on the Gorge

Ring it in right—right on the rim of the New River Gorge, that is! We’ll have all the food, revels and music you can stand. Live music by the Wild Rumpus. Please party responsibly: have a designated driver or rent a cabin! $55 for just dinner, or $70 for dinner, the party and champagne toast at midnight. Country Music @ Sagebrush Round-Up

The Sagebrush Round-Up is the host of a weekly country music show and houses the Country Music Hall of Fame for West Virginia. Open Stage 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.; (If you would like to perform on the open stage, come early and sign up with the MC). Brandi Carlile with Greg Holden

Carlile is an American alternative country and folk rock singer-songwriter. Greg Holden is a British singer-songwriter based in the United States. He is best known for his hit charity single "The Lost Boy" and for co-writing "Home", the 2012 debut single for American Idol-winner Phillip Phillips.

Square Dance

A square dance called by Mack Samples of Nicholas County, W.Va., with music provided by Bluegrass Staff Inflictions, will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, August 5. Admission is $6 general or $4 for students and AmeriCorps members.

Adairs Run Concert

Adairs Run is a country group with a fiery edge based in Nashville, TN. Their sound encompasses the roots from rock and roll all the way to melodies that tie into the heartfelt storytelling in today’s country music. The band is made up of Princeton native, Todd Hanchock, Pat Pollifrone, Ian Daugherty and Chad Yarger. In May 2016, the Band Released their first EP titled “Turn Back The Miles.” The new music features 6 new compositions including one song featuring hit rock artist, Chris Daughtry.
