2018 West Virginia Book Festival

Meet your favorite authors at this free, two-day celebration of books, reading, writing and creativity. Visit the Children’s Word Play area, see authors and vendors in the Festival Marketplace and find a bargain in the giant Used Book Sale (Saturday only). Activities and events for all ages. Friday, October 26 at 10am to 9pm; Saturday, October 27: 8am-5pm

Lewisburg Literary Festival

A celebration of literature, this two-day event is host to visiting authors, writing workshops, outdoor art, musical entertainment, children’s story time and performance art. And it’s free for all to enjoy! Tickets are free, but seating is limited, so once the speakers and events are announced..... be ready to reserve yours in advance by visiting the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center or calling (304) 645-1000 or (800) 833-2068. (Limit 6 tickets per person per author/speaker)

Stine, children's author - 7:30 PM Oct. 28 - West Virginia Authors: Sharyn McCrumb - 3:30 PM; Candance Nelson - 10 AM; Carter Taylor Seaton - 10 AM; Patricia Harman - 11:30 AM; Marc Harshman and Anna Egan Smucker - 1 PM. Oct. 28: Joe Hill - 11:30 AM; Nicola Yoon - 1 PM; Henry Winkler - 3 PM This year’s book festival will also play host to several workshops, the Kanawha County Public Library Annual Used Book Sale, the Marketplace with authors and book-related vendors, and the “Word Play” area for children."
