Community Bank presents Rock, Roll and Doo Wop Volume 20 headlined by Gary Puckett & the Union Gap and Gary Lewis & the Playboys – together for one night only – with The Happenings’ original lead singer Bobby Miranda and The Vogues!
Gary Puckett and The Union Gap – Beginning with “Woman, Woman” in 1967, Gary’s first 5 releases went gold and he went on to sell more records in 1968 than any other recording act – including The Beatles. Puckett’s chart-toppers include “Young Girl,” “This Girl is a Woman Now,” “Lady Willpower” and “Over You”.
Gary Lewis and The Playboys – In 1965, Gary Lewis & the Playboys released their first single, “This Diamond Ring” and it went straight to number one. The enviable string of hits that followed include “Count Me In,” “Save Your Heart For Me,” “Everybody Loves A Clown,” “She’s Just My Style,” “Sure Gonna Miss Her,” and many more.
Plus! The Happenings’ original lead singer Bobby Miranda singing “See You In September,” “Go Away, Little Girl,” and “I Got Rhythm” and The Vogues singing their smash hits “You’re The One,” “Five O’Clock World,” “My Special Angel” and the one that they recently performed on PBS television to an rousing standing ovation, “Turn Around, Look at Me.” Produced by Spotlight Productions.
